James Place provides safe, clean, and affordable housing for the working homeless and recovering homeless veterans.. James Place was the first facility in Kentucky (and one of the first in the country) to offer affordable housing to the working homeless.. The 102 unit project has been a wonderful safe haven of growth and support for hundreds of individuals.. In 2006, we expanded to include St.. James Place II, a 38 unit wing, which provides transitional housing to qualified recovering homeless veterans..
