I've lived at the Lyric for about ten months. It's been great. The apartments are beautiful, new, and have charming details. Closet space is small, depending on lay out, so be careful. Building in general is quiet (we can NEVER hear our neighbors, which concerns us every once in a while. haha), with a beautiful rooftop that hosts great parties every once in a while. Can't beat the location, close to everything Safeway, Chinatown, downtown, restaurants, bars. ONLY complaint is that if you do "covered" (it's not) parking in the back of the building, they don't patrol it. So if someone is in your spot, you have to go to the front desk, who will sometimes tow them, sometimes not. It's frustrating when you're paying so much for a spot and the building management doesn't respect that. View More.
With small and curvy historic buildings flanked by soaring, modern skyscrapers, Mount Vernon Triangle provides an intriguing mix of old and new. This trendy neighborhood sits in the "triangle" formed by New York Avenue to the north, Massachusetts Avenue to the south, and the small, oneblock section of 7th Street at the triangle's point. The Carnegie Library sits just outside the neighborhood on the west side.Lyric 440K Apartments is located in District of Columbia County, the 20001 ZIP Code, and the District Of Columbia Public Schools attendance zone.
